 Attendance Care Attendance Care tracks worship attendance so that we know when someone has missed several weeks in a row and can check to see if all is well. Circle of Support Group The Circle of Support Group (previously called Caregivers) is an open forum group for those who find themselves caring for or lending support to an aging relative or family member, a chronically ill spouse or loved one, or even a friend or child in need. Circle of Support meets the
3rd Friday of every month from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. in the Conference Room
at Crossroads.
DivorceCare

DivorceCare is a 13-week seminar and support group conducted by someone
who understands what you are experiencing. Most importantly, you’ll
learn how to deal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding
your life. There is no charge for this seminar. We are
currently not running this seminar.

Family Concerns Families of members who have lost a loved one gather at the Rising House after the funeral to be served dinner by this group of volunteers. First Community Kitchen First Community Kitchen serves lunch to those in need on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. For more information about this ministry visit our Mission Ministries page. Fellowship Dinners Dinner is served every Wednesday evening from September through May by volunteers. This is a great time for the church family to fellowship together. Fellowship Hour Volunteers serve coffee and doughnuts every Sunday morning from 9:15 - 11:00 a.m. in the parlor. Good Samaritan A ministry that provides transportation to those people who do not have transportation to medical appointments and therapy or shopping for other needs.
Parish Nurse Ministry
This
ministry helps the congregation and the community with information,
knowledge, and skills that will help raise awareness of the relationship
between health, spirit and wholeness. They currently are making blood
pressure screening available and are supporting DivorceCare and the Circle
of Support. They provide information on health issues and promote
community health education opportunities. They meet the second Friday
of each month at 10:00 a.m. at the church. Come join them!
Prayer Ministry A group that supports the congregation and those in need through prayer. Rose Ministry People who have lost a loved one meet the first Thursday of each month to share lunch, and fellowship with special programs.
Spirit Café Coffee Shop
The
Spirit Café Coffee Shop is open every Sunday morning from 9-11:30 a.m.
Cappuccinos, mochas, Americanos, espressos, teas and hot chocolate are
available for purchase and it is a great place for people to gather and
fellowship. Stop by and check it out!
The Supportive Link The Supportive Link is a support group for women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. If you have been diagnosed, are post-surgical, or a breast cancer survivor. you are invited to attend. The Supportive Link meets every
second Tuesday in the Rising House and is affiliated with the American Cancer Society. |
