Created By God

A class that addresses many of the questions that older elementary girls and boys have about their physical development and growing awareness of sexuality in reference to the biblical foundation.

Beautiful in God's Eyes

Thirteen-week Bible study class for girls in grades 4-6. The study contrasts the world's standard of beauty, which can lead to poor self-image, with God's standards, which include courage, leadership, loyalty, service, worship and prayer. The girls will be involved in active learning, prayer and service as they grow spiritually.

In Wisdom and Stature

Thirteen-week Bible study for boys in grades 4 - 6. The study begins with a lesson that helps boys understand that God looks at our hearts, not at our outward appearance. The lessons that follow focus on eleven different men, whose stories are found in the Bible, and will emphasize the characteristics that made each of these men a man of God.

Summer Fun Days

The Children and Family Ministries Council is pleased to offer special activities during the summer for kids entering grades 3-7.

United Methodist Summer Camps

Many different types of camps are available through the United Methodist Camps. Information regarding dates and types of camps is available starting in March. Check with the Christian Education Office for further information.

We also have special projects throughout the year such as UNICEF, Six for Survival, Habitat for Humanity, Lithuania Cow Project, and One Great Hour of Sharing.

Girl Scouts

Several troops meet at various times and locations during the month. The program is designed for school-aged girls, and is open to all who wish to join.
