 Sandy Roberts,
Admin. Secretary
Sandy joined First Church through confirmation as a
youth and joined the church staff in 1985 as Membership
Secretary. Later she became the Administrative
Secretary and Office Manager. Sandy was certified as a
Professional United Methodist Church Secretary through
the organization PAUMCS in Atlanta, GA in December of
1993 by the General Council on Finance and
Administration of the United Methodist Church. She has
attended many of their Annual Conferences in several
different states.
Sandy is married to Bob and they have two daughters,
Heather Roberts and Aimee (Patrick) Munyon, and two
grandchildren, Hannah and Hayden Tatman. Sandy enjoys
gardening, reading, and traveling.
 Martha Pool, Staff Secretary
As staff secretary since March 1999, Martha prepares the
layout of bulletins, announcement sheets, newsletters,
UMW yearbooks, circle books and other projects for
printing. Recent tasks taken on include recording the
worship attendance, updating the PowerPoint
announcements each week and maintaining the website.
Martha lives in the country halfway to Bremen with her
husband Ed. They have four children, Mary, Laura, Amy
and Nathan.
Martha is an elder and active member of Lancaster First
Presbyterian Church and is very active in
Presbyterian
Women.
Along with teaching an adult Sunday School class,
singing in the choir and learning to play handbells, she
enjoys reading, biking, gardening and sewing/knitting in
her spare time.
 Jodie Poor, Media
Resources Secretary
Jodie not only serves as the secretary for the five
educational staff members, and support person for
everyone that walks into her office, she also keeps
things under control and order in the Media Resource
Center. Jodie schedules all the audio visual equipment
for the church staff and volunteers, and makes/prepares
most of the publicity for church classes and functions.
Her supply shelves are unlimited from A to Z - apples to
zippers.
Jodie lives in nearby Amanda in a home that she and her
husband built. Jodie and Bill have two sons, Harrison
and Henry, both as ornery as boys should be. Jodie's
close relatives and friends call her Jo. She's been a
church member at First Church ever since her
grandparents started bringing her to their Adult Bible
Sunday school class when she was a child. Jodie has
served on staff of First Church since November of 1992.
 Susie
Bingham, Receptionist & Worship Secretary
Susie Bingham is a life-long, third generation member
of FUMC. She is a 1975 graduate of Lancaster High School,
as is her husband Brian. They married in 1977. They have
two children, Erin and Brian.
Susie has served the church family in the capacity of
part-time receptionist since 1998, as well as serving as
Worship and Music secretary since 2000.
Susie has volunteered her time over the years with the
Clowns, Vacation Bible School, Sunday school and many
other special projects. She currently sings in the Choir.
When she is not caring for her family at home, she enjoys
reading and caring for her dog.

 Jill Warner, Financial
Secretary
Jill has been a member of First Church since she moved
here with her family from Loveland, Ohio in 1993. After
becoming very involved in Children's Ministries, she
took the position of Children's Coordinator from 2000 to
2003. After a year off she came back to the staff as
Financial Secretary.
Jill has a degree in Business Administration from
Heidelberg College and still keeps herself busy
volunteering with children & youth ministries. She is
married to her loving husband , Tim, and has three
wonderful children David, Stephanie & Garrett, & one
grandchild Paige. |
